Fell in love with the colors on the couch the second I saw it. It’s an eight-cushion monstrosity that is way too comfy for sleeping!

My family bought me an inexpensive mandolin a couple of years ago. I was doing okay and even managed to use it for some backing tracks on some demos. Sadly, while I have a decent attention span, I most always have too many irons in the fire at any given moment and things just have a way of falling into the cracks. I’m getting better and am (slowly) learning to focus on single projects for extended periods of time. Hopefully I’ll make a little more progress on the little eight-string box this time ’round!

Oh, neat! I always wanted to play mandolin. I picked at it a little bit; it has the same string arrangement as a violin so I figured I could teach myself. And I probably would have stuck with it *if* I didn’t have the attention span of Dory from Finding Nemo.

yup got it James, I forget to look at Sabine email box from time to time, doing well on this end. Wow, weird….how goes things in the world with you..beyond your blog but of course. hey I got the nick albums on vinyl..all the pops and fuzzy sounds are great during the winter months. Wanting winter back right about now – hot down here in southern ohio. The Drake family let his music go perhaps to make some money? His sister put out a compilation record of unreleased music, again to make money I am guessing, some great inserts, and the film DVD is not really worth anything, but it’s free on netflix now

Nick is one of those rare artists that I can listen to for days and days at a time. I never know whether to be happy or sad that I keep hearing his music in so many commercials these days.
