About Me
I am a professional scientist with a heavy interest in the creative arts. I am actively involved in writing, music and photography. My love of words extends to the need to devour books at a fairly regular pace. I am particularly fond of Japanese and UK fiction writers as well as the music of Nick Drake and Luka Bloom.
I am the middle son of a Ford foundry man. I am rather precariously married. We are currently in a physical separation. I live in the Akron/Kent area of northern Ohio. I am an unaffiliated Buddhist pursuing a Master of Buddhist Studies. I have strong tendencies toward introversion, shyness, intuitive and abstract thought as well as being prone to daydreams. I am a vegetarian.

About The Site
This site is only a few months old and already I am getting e-mail asking about the domain name. The (very) short version is simply that I am, by nature, someone who seeks and desires solitude and time for contemplation.
The order of the words is meant to imply that I am not simply seeking solitude but also seeking answers, inspiration, guidance and wisdom.
For those of you whom insist the domain should be seekingsolitude.com, go ahead and click on the link. You might get a chuckle out of where you land.
I thank you for browsing my blog and I encourage your feedback.
